I am an education consultant, having worked in education for over 25 years. Starting out as a researcher for the BBC, my teaching career began as an English teacher. I progressed to Deputy Headmistress at the Red Maids’ School, Bristol and then moved to be Headmistress at Bedgebury School, Kent. I took up the post as National Director of the Boarding Schools’ Association in late 2006, and retired from this post in August 2014.
I am currently the Boarding School Education Adviser at William Clarence and am an Independent Schools’ Consultant for Ease Training. In early 2017 I took up Governor positions at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools and Kymin View Primary School.
My husband, Pat, and I have four adult children and we live in Monmouthshire.
